Excellent pizza & gelato. We got the Margherita, Marinara, & Salsiccia & they were all great. Service was a little slow so allow time for that. Good selection of gelato, as well.
This place and our waitress was fantastic! The food was super! We ordered a gluten free pizza. It was fantastic. Even more important was our waitress had the entire restaurant and was so attentive to everyone.
Great food, delicious calzone, okay Gelato, amazing appetizers. The issue is I feel waiters are overworked, which means you can get overlooked. I wanted to order pizza after we had our meals, and I had my hand up for a good 10 minutes, sometimes yelling "excuse me" but never could catch anyone's attention despite being seated in front of the baker. Could the baker not inform the waiters? Not sure but I didn't end up getting that pizza. Another issue is you will sweat so much, they had their AC turned off while it was in the 90s outside. We were seated next to the oven too so it was like a sauna.
This was the best experience. I was so happy to share the day with my daughter. She said you have to try this place. We both are gluten free. You guys nailed it. Thank you for good service and good food. We found our favorite place at Mercurio’s.
We got the fried bread and marinara, 2 pizzas, and gelato. The fried bread seemed a little under cooked, but was still very good. The pizzas were amazing! Super thin, fresh tasting sauce, and the crust was great. We also got 3 different types of gelato for dessert and it was very good. 10/10 would recommend!
Oddly enough, while it's just a pizza joint, they actually recommend/accept reservations and, to boot, ask for a credit card to hold it! Whatever the case, not much of a vibe here, and far too bright (dim those lights). That said, the pizza was really very good, while we also enjoyed a very good glass of wine and a decent DG IPA. There was a bit of a delay to get us seated (not sure why) but our service thereafter was pretty decent I must say. I'd probably return.
Delicious pasta, pizza & gelato!! Great atmosphere for a family night out or casual meet-up. We're looking forward to trying their many varieties of gelato.
